Amber is naturally formed over millions of years ago, created by resin exuding from tree bark and hardening. Due to this process, sometimes insects can get caught in the sap and be left preserved inside of the Amber. Most ambers are 20 million to 130 million years old!

To see all the details in this fascinating piece of amber, I cut out the back of the silver so you can hold it up to the light to see the 2 insects that have been preserved inside!! One is directly in the right center, and the other is at the bottom of the piece.

Featuring a thick silver hoops, this beauty hangs perfectly to your chest with a 24” linked chain. The Ambër is just under 1.5” in length, and the hoop is 1.25”. Hand forged in sterling silver by yours truly!
