PSP LEVEL RATED: HIGH BEGINNER

Don't you just love using Glitter in your images?
This tutorial is completely mine any resemblance to others is purely coincidental.


You will be making this Glitter....



This tut was written on 5-16-04, using Paint Shop Pro 8
**Easily adapted to any PSP Program**

You will need:

*JASC Paint Shop Pro*

&

VM Natural - Sparkle Plugin

Time to make your Gold Glitter Tile........

ACTIVATE your PSP Program and Lets Get Started!

**Remember to name and save your new image**
***Save SAVE Frequently, just in case your program crashes***


Steps for your Gold Glitter!

1. Create a New 100x100 transparent image.
Choose your 2 colors for your glitter!
One dark and one light of the same shade of color.
Or
Lets make some Gold Glitter:
Enter: #C0AC70 into your foreground/stroke properties.
Enter: #E1CD8C into your background/fill properties.

2. Then on your Background/fill click the popout switch (small black arrow)and choose gradient.
next click on the center of the gradient Fill and enter these settings:
Angle: 0
Repeat: 0
Invert: checked
Style: Rectangular
Center point: Horizontal : 50 Vertical: 50
Link center and focal points : checked
Click OK

3. Select your flood fill tool and right click on your empty image
to flood fill with your gradient color.

4. Adding mosaic antique Effect to your image:
Effects>> Texture Effects>> Mosaic Antique:
Grid Settings: Columns: 25, Rows: 25, Symmetric;
Mosaic Settings : Tile diffusion : 19; Grout width: 4; Grout diffusion: 76.
Click ok.

SAVESAVE NOWNOW

5. Adding noise to your gradient image:
Psp 7 (Effects>> Noise) or Psp 8 (Adjust>> Add Noise)
Settings: Gaussian Noise: 57; Monochrome: checked. Click Ok

6. Adding Sparkle to your Image:
Effects>>>> VM Natural>>> Sparkle: Max size: 21;
Red/Green/Blue: 255; Rnd Color On/Off: 255;
Random Seed:45 or adjust the seed to your liking.

7. Now you are Ready to save/name your Gold Glitter Tile.
You can SAVE Now as a Jpg or Gif File.
Save to your patterns Folder in your "My PSP 7 or 8" files folder in Your Documents.
Ready to USE!

VOILA YOU ARE DONE!!
