
This tut was written on 8-03-04,
using Paint Shop Pro 8
**Simple Frame (Psp 7) Here**
You will need:
*JASC Paint Shop Pro*
Lets Get Started......
ACTIVATE your PSP Program!
**Remember to name and save your new image**
***Save
Frequently, in the event your program crashes***
Steps for your Simple Frame Creation!
Open a new transparent image 200x200.
1. Image >>> Add Borders >>>enter these settings:
Pixels
Color : choose any other color (not white)
Size in pixels: 10, Symmetric
OK
2. Tools>> Magic Wand >>
Replace : RGB Value: 10: unticked: 0 : Anti-alias: Outside >>
click on your border.
**notice the marquee outlining your colored border**
Effects >>> 3D effects >>> Inner Bevel >>>
Bevel : #2 ; Width: 5 ; Image: S: 57, D:16,A: -72,S: 46 ;
Light: Color : same color u set your border at. ;
Angle: 357, Intensity:86, Elevation:77
OK
*Your marquee should still be around your border*
3. Effects >>> Texture Effects >>> Fur
Blur: 25 , Density: 90, Length: 11, Transparency: 44
OK
Selections >> Select None.
4. Layers >>>Duplicate
Image >> Resize >>> width/height 95 Percent
Print Size >> Inches ; Resolution: Pixels/Inch
Check resample using
Uncheck maintain original print size
Check: Lock aspect ratio
Uncheck: Resize all layers
OK
5. Repeat Step 4 twice.
Layers>>> Merge >>> Merge Visble
**You now have one Merged Layer**
Tools>> Magic Wand >>
Replace : RGB Value: 10: unticked: 0 : Anti-alias: Outside >>
Click your wand inside your Frame, your marquee should be
surrounding the inside color of your frame.
Hit your delete key on your keyboard. Voila !!
The inside color has disappeared leaving the area transparent.
Selections>>> Select None.
6. Now you can continue on to save it as a * .Pspframe
or just name and save it as your basic *.psp or *.pspimage
File >>> Export >> Picture Frame:Name/Save.
Voila you are done!
